Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld. TIG welding is most commonly used for welding of thin sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, magnesium and copper alloys. TIG welding allows greater control and gives a stronger, higher quality weld finish.
